Im loving the game, is there a fb group to share experiences and discuss the game? I have the feeling thieves need a boom. Thanks for sharing thus with the wirkd
Edwin, I'm so happy to hear you are having fun with the game. No FB at the moment (even TOTM doesn't have one). btw, you're not the first to say the thief needs a boost. Maybe they should get a +2 on their saves when appropriate? Or have a d6 hit die? What do you think would equalize them?
Im thinking d6 to hit, they are skilled with their weapon but only damages d4 (knife). I was thinking thieves can get "tricks" like the spells of wizards and clerics. so on each level they can "learn" pick lock, disarm trap, into the shadows, or backstabing. All those, kind of self explanatory, are one time use similar to spells. I have not had time to test these ideas, but chrismast break is coming :D
Would love to hear how the rules hacks go if you end up trying them. I'm really glad that you (and a few others) have decided to hack the rules. They were made to be hackable! You idea about thieves' skills is especially intriguing.
Hi Jon, where can I buy the game?

ReplyDeleteCould be as simple as: every thief gets one free auto-success on a saving throw. Choose it wisely!
ReplyDeleteHey Jhon, I created a new adventure for OSiD. I would be glad if you could test it :D
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Xmas came early this year :)
