Map of the Lower Mines of Thangar

 This one is a little more spoil-y, so you might want to give it a skip if you aren't up to date with the show.

 For this section of the adventure, I started working with 'zones' instead of a detailed map.  Wouldn't work for a tabletop game, but for the podcast I think it is a useful tool, especially in a labyrinthine place like the mines where having all the detail in front of me would really just be a hindrance.  Does anyone want to listen to a n audiodrama of a bunch of PCs walking down dead ends, retracing their steps, taking more wrong turns and getting lost.  Somehow I doubt it would be very engaging.  Better to abstract it with something like this...

I'll post the map to the Lower Mines in another day or two.  If you're not up to date with the show, you might want to avoid these - there's spoilers in the small print :)

Fan-made module for OSitD available right here, for free!

 A couple of weeks ago I got an email from EZ, who had made a module for OSitD.  He asked if I'd like to playtest it  ... you bet I did!  He has very generously allowed me to make it available to you for free, so if anyone is looking for some OSitD DLC, click on this link and be sure to leave a comment for EZ with a digital high five.  There are some very cool ideas here.  Without spoiling too much: expanded thief abilities and a Boss Henchman random table.  This adventure, called the Lair of the Goblin King is 4 levels, and takes significantly longer than a typical OSitD game.  Partly this is due to expanded combat (by which I mean there's more combat than in the original module).  Here's a photo of EZ's setup.  Now I have some serious card envy going on!
