I stumbled upon your podcast by accident last week. Superb. Truly. I even convinced my wife to listen. I dig the low power level, ypur XP rules and the absence of the typical golf bag of magic items in a party of PCs. I feel sorry for Umura though. A couple of her spells are very situational. Sleep, Magic Missile and Web are very useful. Sleep would have been a game changer in many early battles. That being said, rolling for her spells works for the show. Anyway, I'm hooked.
If you like TotM, then I'm sure Jon won't mind me shamelessly plugging my own, which was inspired by it. Search for Legend of the Bones in your podcatcher of choice. :)
This is a solid list of 2nd level spells to start with! I hope she gets Phantasmal Force on her next advancement! It has so many applications!
When do they find the “wizarding stick” the fairies mentioned? Is it a wand, a staff, or something weird like a cane with a spell carved into it to look like decoration?
